Job summary

PT Michael Page Internasional Indonesia seeks an accomplished Group Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, governance, and digital transformation for a major Indonesian energy group. You will drive multi-year roadmaps, establish enterprise IT standards, and ensure robust cybersecurity across all entities.

You will oversee Oracle ERP transformation, optimize processes in finance, procurement, supply chain, and logistics, and build a scalable digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Master's degree (MBA or technology-related) is advantageous.
• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership, including enterprise technology accountability.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute group-wide technology strategy aligned to business objectives and growth.
• Act as principal technology advisor on investment, risk and transformation decisions.

Description

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute a group-wide technology strategy directly tied to business objectives and growth plans.
• Act as principal technology advisor to group leadership on investment, risk and transformation decisions.
• Set multi-year technology roadmaps that balance near-term integration demands against long-term scalability.
• Establish enterprise IT governance frameworks, policies, standards and the group technology operating model.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture, risk management, regulatory compliance and audit readiness across all entities.
• Introduce investment governance so technology spend is prioritised against business value and measured after the fact.
• Define performance metrics, service levels and reporting structures for technology at group and business-unit level.

Enterprise Applications & Oracle ERP

• Lead the optimisation, enhancement and transformation of Oracle ERP across the group.
• Drive ERP adoption and process standardisation in finance, procurement, supply chain, inventory, logistics and commercial functions.
• Set enterprise architecture standards and application governance covering integration, data and lifecycle management.
• Hold ERP vendors, implementation partners and managed service providers to commercial and delivery commitments.

Digital Transformation

• Identify and prioritise automation and digitisation opportunities with quantified operational or commercial impact.
• Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies where they improve efficiency, control or customer experience.
• Build a scalable digital ecosystem spanning retail, commercial, supply chain and corporate operations.
• Establish data management, reporting and analytics frameworks that give leadership a single source of truth.

Application Development

• Build, lead and scale internal software development and application engineering teams.
• Define application architecture, development standards, SDLC processes and quality assurance frameworks.
• Oversee delivery, enhancement and support of business-critical custom applications.
• Embed agile delivery and product-oriented ways of working across the engineering function.

Technology Operations

• Ensure the stability, security and availability of enterprise systems and business applications.
• Raise IT service quality, responsiveness and internal user satisfaction to a defined standard.
• Own technology budgets, workforce planning, sourcing strategy and vendor management.
• Develop, retain and structure a high-performing technology organisation.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with senior leaders across operations, supply chain, finance, commercial and retail businesses.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected technology solutions.
• Build and manage relationships with strategic technology vendors and delivery partners.

Profile

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Master's degree (MBA or technology-related) is advantageous.

Experience

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership, including senior accountability for an enterprise technology function.
• Track record leading technology across large, complex, multi-entity or multi-site organisations.
• Demonstrated ownership of IT governance, enterprise architecture and technology transformation agendas.
• Hands-on leadership of Oracle ERP implementation, optimisation or transformation programmes.
• Experience building and leading software engineering or application development teams, not only vendor-managed delivery.
