Job summary

Yogyakarta Marriott is seeking an Account Director to proactively solicit and manage group and catering opportunities. You will drive revenue by closing contracts and coordinating with Event Management to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will identify market opportunities, nurture relationships with clients, and deliver exceptional customer experiences that grow loyalty and increase share of the account for the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
• OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies new group/catering business to achieve revenue goals.
• Closes opportunities and negotiates contracts.
• Provides exceptional customer service throughout each customer experience.
• Works collaboratively with Event Management and/or Operations to exceed guest expectations.
