Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive General Trade execution, distributor development, and field coaching in the Jakarta area. You will translate national strategies into on-ground action, raise distributor performance, and ensure Perfect Store standards across priority outlets.

The role focuses on expanding distribution, improving in-store availability, and leading a sales force to meet territory targets, while collaborating with marketing, supply chain, and distributor partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FMCG sales experience, with strong exposure to General Trade channels.
• Proven experience leading distributor sales teams and managing field execution.
• Strong understanding of General Trade operations, route management, and distribution systems.
• Experience managing Perfect Store programs and execution KPIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in coaching, training, and developing sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Perfect Store execution across priority outlets, ensuring high OSA, visibility, and planogram compliance.
• Expand ND and outlet coverage; growth of priority SKUs and distribution across traditional trade.
• Manage distributor sales supervisors and reps to maximize productivity and KPI accountability.
• Deliver territory sales volume, revenue, and market share objectives; monitor trends and address gaps.
• Coach distributors through field coaching, capability assessments, and succession planning.
• Partner with distributor teams to review performance, implement RTM/GTM initiatives, and ensure policy compliance.
