Job summary

PT Megaspeed International Indonesia is seeking a Server Hardware Engineer to install, configure, and rack GPU/CPU servers in our Cikarang data center. You will perform hardware troubleshooting, monitor uptime, and maintain documentation. Fresh graduates are welcome; a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Electronics is preferred.

Proficiency with Linux and basic networking is needed. Travel occasionally. Join a team advancing AI computing resources, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge GPU

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required or fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic understanding of server hardware architecture (GPU/ x86 servers, storage systems).
• Familiar with Linux operating systems and basic commands.
• Understanding of data center operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Willing to work in Cikarang and open to occasional business travel.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and rack GPU/CPU servers under engineer supervision to ensure proper initial deployment and operation.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and debugging for servers, including GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage, and network components.
• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of server hardware; document status and report abnormalities.
• Monitor server performance, system logs, and alerts to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Assist in diagnosing hardware and basic system issues (Linux-based systems), and support resolution processes.
• Handle work orders/tickets, follow up on issue resolution, and coordinate with internal teams or vendors when required.
• Manage spare parts replacement.
• Test and validate new hardware components based on standard procedures to ensure quality and compatibility.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance records.
