Job summary

Hendricks Corp is building an AI engineering team in Jakarta to ship production AI systems working closely with Singapore. We’re seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to write code, train and deploy models, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with teams across Singapore, Jakarta and Bangalore.

You will contribute to live deployments in computer vision, video analytics, and GenAI across industries. We’re looking for engineers who thrive on solving hard technical problems, shipping production

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems.
• Strong Python and working proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong Computer Vision experience (OpenCV, YOLO or similar frameworks).
• Experience deploying production AI systems using Docker, APIs and basic MLOps practices.
• Practical experience with GenAI/LLMs, including LLM APIs, vector databases, RAG or agent frameworks.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Hendricks Corp is a Singapore-headquartered company building AI-powered video analytics and applied data intelligence platforms. Our systems are deployed across Government, Security, Entertainment, Hospitality, and Enterprise environments where AI is expected to perform reliably in production - not as a proof of concept or R&D.

We are establishing an AI engineering team in Jakarta that will work closely with our Singapore. This is a build-first culture. We hire engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems, shipping production systems, and taking ownership of what they build.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineer for our Jakarta engineering pod.

This is not a management role. You’ll be writing code, training and deploying models, building production pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers while working directly with our AI/Project Lead in Singapore.

You’ll contribute to live client deployments across computer vision, video analytics, and applied GenAI systems used by enterprise customers across multiple industries.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

We care far more about what you’ve built than what you’ve studied.

You’ll ideally have:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems
• Strong Python and working proficiency in C/C++
• Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• Strong Computer Vision experience (OpenCV, YOLO or similar frameworks)
• Experience deploying production AI systems using Docker, APIs and basic MLOps practices
