Golf Graha Famili is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent / Golf Maintenance Manager to lead annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance programs for a premier golf course. You will manage the Maintenance department’s operations, budgets, and systems to ensure top playing conditions, safety, and adherence to standards.
The role requires strong leadership, budgeting expertise, and a hands-on approach to team development, inventory control, and process optimization.
This role involves developing and managing comprehensive golf course maintenance programs on annual, monthly, and weekly schedules. You will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities of the Golf Maintenance department, ensuring the golf course remains well-maintained, safe, and meets quality standards for play.
Key responsibilities
Develop annual, monthly, and weekly golf course maintenance programs
Prepare and manage annual and monthly budgets in accordance with maintenance programs
Develop, implement, evaluate, and refine golf course maintenance management systems according to operational needs
Ensure all Golf Maintenance department administrative activities comply with company policies and procedures
Conduct regular inventory of tools, machinery, materials, and golf course maintenance equipment
Ensure availability, fitness, and proper use of tools and materials to support maintenance program implementation
Create work schedules and assign tasks to team members based on programs and operational requirements
Provide training, guidance, and evaluation to all Golf Maintenance department employees to enhance competency and performance
Oversee tool and material usage and ensure work is performed effectively, efficiently, and to established standards
Monitor work processes and results for each employee and implement corrective actions as needed
About you
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape, Turfgrass Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in golf course management and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position
Understanding of golf course turf management, including fertilization, pest and disease control, aeration, grass cutting, and maintenance of greens, fairways, tee boxes, bunkers, and rough
Understanding of golf course irrigation system operation and maintenance
Ability to develop work programs, maintenance schedules, budgets, and operational reports
Knowledge of equipment, machinery, chemicals, fertilizers, and maintenance inventory management
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and team management capabilities
Ability to analyze problems and make quick decisions based on course conditions
Orientation toward quality, cost efficiency, workplace safety, and player satisfaction
Proficiency in computer operation, particularly Microsoft Office and supporting administrative applications
