Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks a Construction Manager for a gold mining project in Indonesia. You will lead day-to-day construction activities, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, RFI management, and coordination with engineering and operations teams to achieve milestones and regulatory compliance, with a focus on efficient handover and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mining, Mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Diploma (D3/D4) accepted with exceptional field experience; minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated mining or large-scale heavy industrial construction experience is mandatory.
• Experience with earthworks, tailings, process plant construction, or mine infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and construction specs.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities including civil works, structural steel, concrete, earthworks.
• Oversee mechanical/electrical installation on mine site.
• Plan, schedule, and sequence work packages to align with milestones and production requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors, crews, and inspectors; ensure quality meets specs.
• Enforce QHSE compliance with zero-tolerance safety approach.
• Conduct daily/weekly site meetings and report deviations to the Project Manager.
• Manage construction RFIs, site instructions, and design clarifications.
• Control site-level budgets; monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage against cost plans.
• Oversee commissioning and pre-commissioning activities with Process/Operations teams.
• Coordinate with environmental and permit teams to comply with AMDAL and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate construction records and ensure handover documentation is complete.
