Job summary

Talent Insider, an upcoming HR consultancy, seeks an experienced Backend Engineer to design and build robust Golang services. You will collaborate with engineering peers and product managers to translate vision into scalable systems.

You will coach junior engineers, uphold high development standards, and drive cloud-enabled initiatives from inception to deployment. Strong communication and agile leadership are essential to navigate fast-moving projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 4+ years backend development with Golang.
• Strong system design and backend scale experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and design backend systems and services with high dependability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineering peers and product managers to realize the vision with strong engineering solutions.
• Coach and technically assist less experienced team members to maintain high development standards.
• Lead development of distributed systems and cloud services from inception to implementation and ongoing improvement.
• Work with stakeholders to identify functional and non-functional needs for software development.
• Ensure clean, maintainable code, quick feature release, and successful system integration and feasibility.

Requirement

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4 years' experience in back-end development with a robust skill set in Golang
• Excellent command of software architecture concepts and a track record of successful system design and development, especially in the back-end field of consumer internet services
• Ability to oversee engineering teams and offer a technical roadmap in an environment that prioritizes agile development
• Excellent communication skills, especially the capacity to make wise judgments in stressful situations and negotiate uncertainty
