Job summary

PT Weichai Indonesia Utama seeks an experienced professional to drive overseas market development in the construction machinery sector. You will cultivate relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-user customers, and coordinate market feedback with R&D and production.

The role requires 3+ years in overseas markets, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in English (Chinese preferred). Based in Jakarta, you will participate in exhibitions and support KD export projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engine Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of overseas market development, foreign trade sales, or customer development within construction machinery or engine-related industry.
• Strong understanding of overseas sales, KD projects, and international business operations.
• Strong business negotiation, communication, market analysis, and customer development skills.
• Fluent in English; Chinese proficiency is required/preferred for business communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word).
• Experience working overseas or in international markets is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop overseas markets and build strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-user customers.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify customer and product requirements.
• Develop and maintain distributors and customer channels within the assigned territory.
• Participate in exhibitions, customer visits, online marketing activities, and product promotions.
• Support product exports, including KD assembly projects and overseas engineering projects.
• Coordinate customer requirements and market feedback with R&D, production, technical, and other internal teams.
• Provide after-sales service support, including product maintenance assistance and customer training.
• Monitor and report market developments and product quality information.
