Job summary

Austin Engineering Ltd is seeking a Design Drafter – CREO in Batam, Indonesia. You will develop and maintain high-quality 2D drawings and 3D CAD models to support international engineering projects.

Your work translates design concepts into production-ready documentation that satisfies customer, quality, and manufacturing standards. Working with cross-functional teams across sites, you will ensure designs comply with specifications and maintain rigorous documentation and version control for

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of design drafting or mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
• Translate design concepts into clear, precise, manufacturable technical drawings.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, standards and internal specs.
• Collaborate with global engineering, project and manufacturing teams.
• Implement design updates based on reviews and feedback.
• Maintain documentation, drawing revisions and version control.
