Austin Engineering Ltd is seeking a Design Drafter – CREO in Batam, Indonesia. You will develop and maintain high-quality 2D drawings and 3D CAD models to support international engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of design drafting or mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.

Your Future Role

The Design Drafter – CREO is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality 2D drawings and 3D CAD models to support global engineering projects. This role works closely with cross-functional and international engineering teams to translate design concepts into accurate, production-ready technical documentation that meets customer, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor
• Convert engineering concepts into clear, precise, and manufacturable technical drawings
• Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal specifications
• Collaborate with global engineering, project, and manufacturing teams
• Implement design updates based on reviews, changes, and engineering feedback
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and version control.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in in design drafting or mechanical design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and other CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with global teams.
• A diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred
