Job summary

PT Medco Power Energi Services (MPES) in Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur, seeks a General Services Supervisor to lead facility, fleet, procurement and admin activities at the site.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills with 5+ years in General Services or related fields, ideally in coal-fired power, mining, or heavy industry, and experience managing cleaning services, security, and SSHE.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on a non-roster schedule.

About the Role

The General Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating General Services activities, including facility and office management, cleaning services, driver and fleet management, procurement of supplies and services, contract administration, and general administrative support.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively in a site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise General Services activities and personnel.
• Monitor and evaluate cleaning services and driver performance.
• Manage office facilities, equipment, and office supplies.
• Coordinate procurement of general supplies, materials, and services.
• Support company events and site activities.
• Manage and monitor service contracts related to General Services.
• Support fleet and transportation management.
• Ensure proper administrative and documentation activities.
• Monitor Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) aspects within the work area.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any major.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in General Services, General Affairs, Facility Management, or related functions.
• Experience in Coal-Fired Power Plant (PLTU), Mining, or Heavy Industry is highly preferred.
• Experience managing cleaning services, particularly in coal handling, coal yard, or coal-related areas, is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Certified in Industrial Relations by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Willing to relocate to Kupang, NTT.
• Willing to work on a non-roster working schedule.
