Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia is seeking a senior Mining Operations Manager to lead all mine production, jetty, and logistics in East Kalimantan. The role requires strong blasting experience and a target-driven mindset to meet monthly and weekly targets.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining or Engineering with 10–15 years in related fields, including contracting and heavy machinery operations. English and Indonesian proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving production targets based on the established Monthly Production Plan.
• Participate in and lead Production Team P5M meetings – discussing targets, unit status, safety, mine and road conditions, and other issues.
• Collaborate with Mining Engineering and Repair & Maintenance teams to prepare the monthly Production Plan/Budget.
• Ensure the achievement of heavy equipment productivity targets.
• Coordinate with RM Manager to ensure equipment availability for overburden stripping and coal-getting activities.
• Work with Production Superintendent to control truck cycle circulation.
• Coordinate with Drill & Blast team to prepare drill locations for efficient blasting.
• Establish corrective action plans to achieve weekly and monthly production targets with management updates.
• Collaborate with HR to develop production staff including training and counseling.
• Prevent accidents through corrective actions with Safety/HSE team.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for all operations within the mine. Fromproduction, to jetty, to logistics, and everything else. This person must be target-driven to achieve all targetsand also experienced in blasting method.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving production targets based on the established Monthly Production Plan.
• Participate in and lead every Production Team P5M meeting – discussing targets, unit status, safety, mine and road conditions, and other issues.
• Work together with the Mining Engineering and Repair & Maintenance (RM) teams to prepare the monthly Production Plan/Budget.
• Ensure the achievement of heavy equipment productivity targets.
• Collaborate with the RM Manager to ensure sufficient equipment availability daily for overburden stripping (OB stripping) and coal-getting activities to meet daily production targets.
• Work with the Production Superintendent to control truck cycle circulation.
• Coordinate with the Production Superintendent and Drill & Blast team to prepare drill locations so that drilling and blasting activities run effectively and efficiently.
• Establish corrective action plans to achieve weekly production targets. Meeting minutes are sent to management on a daily basis.

• Collaborate with the HR team to develop production employees so they remain dedicated, loyal, and disciplined.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 10-15 Year(s) of working experience in the related field for comparable companiesis required for this position.
• Experience in blasting method.
• Experience in contracting company.
• Experience invarious heavy machineries (bulldozer, compactor, excavator, dump truck, coal crusher, drilling machine, crane, forklift, water truck, etc) from various brands (Komatsu, Volvo, Caterpillar, Scania, Nissan, Boomag, etc)
• English and Indonesian communication skills are necessary; spoken & written.
• Able to plan and delegate work to achieve results
• Able to work independently and as a team whenever required
• Good organizational skills and able to motivate subordinates
• Good analytical thinking, mature, and responsible.
