Job summary

PT. Wani Resources Indonesia is seeking a General Manager to lead its mining operations and development activities in Landak, West Kalimantan.

You will set strategic direction, oversee production targets, and ensure compliance with technical, legal, OH&S and environmental standards. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least 10 years in mining, and proven senior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the mining industry.
• Proven experience in a managerial or senior management position within mining.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, including planning, exploration, mining, processing, and production management.
• Experience coordinating with relevant government authorities.

• Provide strategic direction and recommendations to the Board of Directors in decision-making
• Ensure all company activities are conducted effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with good corporate governance standards

About you

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Administration or a related field.

• Proven experience in a managerial or senior management position within the mining industry
• Strong understanding of mining operations, including mine planning, exploration, mining, processing, and production management
• Experience in coordinating with relevant government authorities
