Job summary

PT. Wani Resources Indonesia is seeking a General Manager to lead its mining operations and development activities in Landak, West Kalimantan.

You will set strategic direction, oversee production targets, and ensure compliance with technical, legal, OH&S and environmental standards. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least 10 years in mining, and proven senior leadership experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Administration or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the mining industry.
Proven experience in a managerial or senior management position within mining.
Strong understanding of mining operations, including planning, exploration, mining, processing, and production management.
Experience coordinating with relevant government authorities.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the company's overall mining operations and development activities.
Develop and ensure implementation of business strategies and company targets.
Ensure mining activities comply with technical, legal, health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate across departments to achieve targets.
Manage relationships with government authorities, communities, partners and other stakeholders.
Monitor operational, financial and human resources performance.
Provide strategic direction and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Ensure activities are conducted with good governance.
