Job summary

PT KEPODANG MAKMUR SEJAHTERA is seeking a senior operations manager to oversee construction projects, workshop and module building activities, driving planning from preparation to handover.

You will monitor progress against budgets, lead cross functional teams, coordinate with clients and suppliers, review costs, and ensure safety and quality compliance while seeking new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction, engineering, fabrication, workshop, or related industry with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of construction project management, workshop/fabrication, and/or module building.
• Good understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and coordinate different teams effectively.
• Strong business development and client relationship management.
• Good understanding of project schedules, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s overall operations including construction projects and workshop activities.
• Lead project planning and execution from preparation through completion and handover.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, manpower, materials, and schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Estimators, Workshop teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Review project budgets, BOQ, cost estimates, quotations, and project profitability.
• Ensure projects follow drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction, engineering, workshop, and module building.
• Review tenders, project opportunities, and commercial proposals with relevant teams.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure effective cost control.
• Develop and improve operational procedures, work processes, and PM systems.
• Lead, manage, and develop the company’s teams to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, policies, and regulations.
• Report overall business and project performance to management with recommendations.

Job description

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experiencein construction, engineering, fabrication, workshop, or a related industry, with proven managerial or leadership experience.

Strong understanding of construction project management, workshop/fabrication, and/or module building processes.

Good understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.

Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision‑making skills.
