General Maintenance Technician (Outsourced)

Please note that this role is part of our outsourced workforce arrangement. The successful candidate will be employed by our outsourcing partner and will be based at British School Jakarta to support our facilities and maintenance operations.

CORE PURPOSE:

Repair and maintain all Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) work and ensure that the work is carried out properly as instructed by the Electrical Supervisor. Ensuring all quality and quantity of Mechanical, electrical, Plumbing work has met the required technical standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Vocational Education (STM / SMK) in Mechanical/Electrical or a related field.

Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, or general maintenance works is preferred; however, fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Good knowledge and skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil works.

Good written and verbal communication in English and strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with internal and external parties.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively as a team, and ability to build effective working relationships.

Committed to the highest standards of excellence, including ethical standards with a strong commitment to legal ethics exhibited in knowledge and practice, and professional responsibility.

Highly self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines, strong problem-solving skills and organisational skills.

Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).

Knowledge and skills in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and fire protection systems.

Experience in the education industry, particularly in an international school setting.
