Job summary

PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk. is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will monitor GCP workloads, triage incidents, handle deployments and access requests, and document runbooks to improve reliability and user experience.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in CS/IT, at least 1 year in a Cloud Engineer role, strong GCP fundamentals, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset with excellent communication. You should be ready for shift-based work and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science/Information Technology.
• At least 1 year(s) of experience as Cloud Engineer.
• Solid understanding of Google Cloud fundamentals (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring/Logging).
• Highly responsive with strong customer focus and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Continuous learner with the drive to explore and master new GCP services.
• Initiative-taker and proactive problem solver with clear, timely communication.
• Willing to work on a shift-based schedule (may include evenings/weekends/holidays).

Responsibilities

• Monitor GCP workloads and platforms; triage and resolve incidents within SLA.
• Handle service requests (access, deployments, config changes) with proper approvals.
• Perform routine health checks, basic troubleshooting, and escalation when needed.
• Document runbooks and contribute improvements to processes and tooling.
• Proactively identify risks/opportunities to enhance reliability, performance, and cost.
