Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train sanitation staff to ensure adherence to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Develop and implement SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) for all production areas and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify cleaning effectiveness and compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Manage the inventory and proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve sanitation-related issues that may impact production or product safety.
• Maintain detailed records of sanitation activities, chemical usage, and training sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sanitation Supervisor or in a similar role within the food production industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP principles.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in food science or related field is a plus.
