Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Functional Expert – Payments / Card Processing to support reconciliation, settlement, and card platform implementations within a banking environment.

The role focuses on functional analysis, business requirements documentation (BRD/FRD), system configuration, testing support, and production validation across payment processing workflows, with collaboration across vendors and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Card and payment processing expertise with knowledge of lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement).
• Experience with reconciliation, settlement, and card management platform implementations.
• Banking/financial services implementation experience.
• Familiar with reconciliation engines and payment networks (Visa, GPN, Alto, Artajasa).
• Experience investigating transaction exceptions, reconciliation breaks, and production incidents.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Proven ability to coordinate with technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders.

Job Title: Functional Expert – Payments / Card Processing

Duration: 1 year

Location: Indonesia

This opportunity is focused on supporting transaction reconciliation, clearing, settlement, and card management platform implementation within a banking and financial services environment. The role will contribute to functional analysis, business requirements documentation, system configuration, testing support, and production validation across payment processing workflows. This company is a global technology business delivering digital, engineering, cloud, and AI capabilities across multiple sectors, with strong experience supporting complex enterprise transformation programmes.

Required Experience

• Strong functional experience in card and payment processing, with a clear understanding of the transaction lifecycle including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, reversals, and adjustments
• Experience supporting transaction reconciliation, clearing, settlement, and card management platform implementation or support
• Banking or financial services implementation experience
• Experience working with reconciliation engine solutions and payment networks
• Experience investigating transaction exceptions, reconciliation breaks, settlement discrepancies, and production incidents
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production validation, and post-go-live stabilisation
• Experience coordinating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders

Required Skills

• Functional knowledge of card management platforms, transaction processing systems, and related payment applications
• Ability to gather and document business and functional requirements, including BRD and FRD documentation
• Capability to prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, and reconciliation and settlement process maps
• Knowledge of payment networks including Visa and Indonesian domestic networks such as GPN, Alto, and Artajasa
• Ability to configure reconciliation, clearing, and settlement parameters and provide system configuration recommendations
• Ability to support defect management, issue analysis, root cause reporting, operational controls, and reporting
• Ability to deliver user guides, knowledge transfer materials, training support, and production stabilisation documentation
