• Fresh graduate or final-year student in CS/Software Engineering.
• Experience building web-based apps, dashboards, or data visualization.
• Proficient in backend development with Node.js or Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with mapping libraries (Leaflet/Mapbox/OpenLayers).
• Familiarity with geospatial technologies and GIS data preferred.
• Experience with GeoJSON, raster/vector datasets a plus.

Position Overview

The Fullstack Website Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the web-based platform for the AI Disaster Mitigation Platform, supporting the visualization and delivery of satellite-based disaster monitoring information. This role focuses on building fast, reliable, and user-friendly web interfaces and backend services to visualize and serve geospatial information. The developer will be responsible for developing map-based interfaces, integrating APIs, managing data flow between backend services and the frontend, and ensuring that geospatial information is presented accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain a fullstack web application for geospatial visualization

Design responsive user interfaces for interactive dashboards, maps, and monitoring features

Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and database structures to support application functionality

Integrate geospatial datasets into the platform

Collaborate with GIS teams to ensure accurate visualization and processing of spatial information

Optimize application performance, scalability, and usability for operational monitoring purposes

Prepare technical documentation including system architecture, API documentation, and development reports

Requirements

Fresh graduate or final-year student from relevant majors (Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields)

Experience in developing web-based applications, dashboards, or data visualization platforms

Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)

Experience with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases)

Experience with mapping libraries (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers, or similar)

Experience in web development and GIS data is preferred

Understanding of geospatial technologies is preferred (spatial databases, coordinate systems, and geospatial data formats)

Experience working with GeoJSON, raster/vector data, or satellite-derived datasets is a plus
