Job summary

Nodewave in Jakarta is seeking a robust Fullstack Engineer to build the operational backbone for high-value projects. You will work across frontend and backend with strict TypeScript, Next.js, and a modern stack to ensure reliability and scalability.

You will design secure APIs with Bun, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and implement complex authorization and concurrency controls. Collaboration with product teams and deployment to cloud services like Vercel is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer or Software Engineer on complex web apps.
• Deep expertise in frontend stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI/shadcn.
• Experience with state management and data fetching using TanStack Query 5 and Zustand 5.
• Backend: Bun, Hono, Prisma, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of JWT-based authentication and API security.
• Understanding multi-tenant data isolation and concurrency challenges.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain type-safe fullstack applications using strict TypeScript on both frontend and backend.
• Build responsive, dynamic UIs with Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, and Tailwind CSS 4.
• Design and implement APIs using Bun, Hono, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Handle edge-cases and concurrency with optimistic locking and audit trail.
• Implement multi-layered authorization (RBAC + ABAC) based on role, department, and task state.
• Build a Dependency-Aware Task Board with prereq-based auto-blocking.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, and Engineers to ensure quality.
• Manage deployment of API and frontend to cloud services (Vercel/Railway/Render).
