Job summary

FindITGeek is seeking a versatile software engineer to develop and maintain backend and frontend applications. You will work with Go, Python, PHP, HTML/CSS/JS, and modern frameworks like React.js and Vue.js to deliver scalable web solutions.

You will design APIs (REST/gRPC), build microservices with Docker and Kubernetes, and handle streaming/batch data pipelines using Kafka. Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL, Postman, GitHub, and Figma is required.

Qualifications

• Back-end development using Go, Python, and/or PHP.
• Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, and/or Bootstrap.
• Experience with REST API and gRPC.
• Experience with Microservices and Container Architecture, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with streaming and batch data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kafka/Confluent or other real-time Pub/Sub technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Figma.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Job description

Job Description : Develop and maintain backend and frontend applications based on business and technical requirements. Develop backend services using Go, Python, and/or PHP. Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, and Bootstrap. Design and implement APIs using REST and gRPC. Develop and integrate Microservices using Docker and Kubernetes. Build and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines. Work with real-time data processing and Pub/Sub technologies, such as Kafka/Confluent. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, SQL Server, HBase, Elasticsearch, HiveQL/Impala, or similar technologies. Perform API development, testing, integration, and troubleshooting using Postman. Collaborate with development teams using tools such as GitHub and Figma. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing applications and services.

Requirements

Minimum D3 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in software development or a related field. Equivalent skills or experience may be considered. Experience with backend development using Go, Python, and/or PHP. Good understanding of REST API and gRPC. Experience with frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, and/or Bootstrap. Experience with Postman for API testing and integration.
