Job summary

PT Ruang Raya Indonesia (Ruangguru) seeks energetic English teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons for ages 3–18. You will manage class schedules, assess progress, and provide supportive feedback, while mentoring freelance teachers and maintaining a high standard of instruction.

Based at the English Academy Center, you will apply diverse methods to engage students, uphold policies, and continuously develop teaching skills to drive learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field.
• Experience teaching English, preferably for ages 3–18.
• TOEFL/IELTS certification is a plus.
• Able to mentor fellow teachers.
• Strong English communication (oral and written).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.
• Willing to teach offline at English Academy Center.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to learners of all ages (up to 25 hours/week).
• Develop engaging lesson plans for varying proficiency levels.
• Use diverse teaching methods and materials to foster participation.
• Provide feedback and monitor student progress with regular reports.
• Maintain attendance, progress records, and administer assessments.
• Collaborate with admin to ensure smooth class schedules.
• Mentor freelance teachers and observe classes with actionable feedback.
• Ensure adherence to teaching standards and policies.

Job description

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students ranging from young learners to adults. Maximum 25 teaching hours per week.
• Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the needs and proficiency levels of students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and materials to facilitate learning and encourage student participation.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular reports and updates.

Class Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
• Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessment tools.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of classes and adherence to schedules.
• Handle classroom management, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Mentor and support freelance teachers, providing guidance on lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching techniques.
• Conduct regular observations of freelance teachers' classes, offering feedback and actionable advice to improve their teaching performance.
• Ensure freelance teachers adhere to English Academy's teaching standards and policies.

Requirements
