Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim membutuhkan Fuel Analyst yang akan berada di Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur, untuk memantau, menganalisis, dan mengoptimalkan konsumsi bahan bakar seluruh armada perusahaan. Anda akan berperan penting dalam mengendalikan biaya operasional, meningkatkan efisiensi, serta mengidentifikasi peluang efisiensi dan perbaikan proses.

Posisi ini menuntut kemampuan analitis yang kuat, keterampilan Excel yang baik, serta kemampuan berkomunikasi efektif dengan pemangku kepentingan teknis

Qualifications

• Kredensial di logistik/analisis data atau sertifikat terkait diutamakan.
• Pengalaman kerja di analisis konsumsi bahan bakar atau industri terkait harus dibuktikan.
• Kemampuan menginterpretasikan data dan menghasilkan wawasan operasional.

Responsibilities

• Pantau dan analisis data konsumsi bahan bakar armada perusahaan untuk mengidentifikasi tren dan varians.
• Kembangkan dan kelola sistem pelacakan bahan bakar serta basis data penggunaan dan pengeluaran.
• Lakukan audit berkala terhadap proses pengadaan bahan bakar serta verifikasi kualitas dan harga dari pemasok.
• Siapkan laporan konsumsi bahan bakar untuk manajemen dengan metrik kunci.
• Identifikasi peluang pengurangan biaya bahan bakar dan efisiensi, berikan rekomendasi ke tim operasional.

About the role

We are seeking a Fuel Analyst to join our team in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our operations management function, responsible for monitoring, analysing and optimizing fuel consumption across our fleet. As Fuel Analyst, you will play a crucial role in controlling operational costs, improving efficiency and identifying opportunities for fuel savings and process improvements. This role is essential to our commitment to operational excellence and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse fuel consumption data across the company fleet, identifying trends and variances
• Develop and maintain fuel tracking systems and databases to ensure accurate recording of fuel usage and expenditure
• Conduct regular audits of fuel procurement processes and verify fuel quality and pricing from suppliers
• Prepare detailed fuel consumption reports for management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators
• Identify opportunities for fuel cost reduction and efficiency improvements, and make recommendations to operational teams
• Collaborate with fleet managers and drivers to promote fuel-efficient driving practices and best practices
• Investigate anomalies or discrepancies in fuel consumption and implement corrective actions
• Monitor fuel prices and market trends to ensure the company secures competitive rates
• Support the implementation of fuel management policies and procedures across the organisation
• Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure vehicles are properly maintained for optimal fuel efficiency

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Fuel Analyst or similar role within the transport, logistics or fleet management industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Excel, with competency in creating reports and dashboards
• Knowledge of fuel management systems, fleet management software and relevant industry practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of fuel types, vehicle fuel systems and factors affecting fuel consumption
• Familiarity with road transport operations, logistics processes and fleet management practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in logistics, fleet management or data analysis are preferred
