Job summary

PT Samudera Caraka Jasa is seeking a diligent Accounting/Finance staff in Jakarta. The role involves managing financial records, reconciling costs for freight and logistics, and preparing data for reports and tax filings in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least two years of experience, and proficiency in MS Office and local finance software. You will support the team with timely financial statements and cash flow analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience preparing data for financial reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and persistent.
• Proficiency in finance software, preferably Jurnal.id/Mekari and Accurate.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial records, process transactions, and reconcile transport-related costs such as freight rates, customs duties, port charges, and carrier/vendor invoices.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage ledger entries for foreign currency transactions (FX gains/losses).
• Prepare and compile data for tax filings.
• Assist the team lead in preparing monthly trial balances, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial reports.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
