Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Views Editor to join our team for a high-volume content production project. You will edit long-form and short-form videos optimized for audience retention across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

You should excel in storytelling, pacing, and social formats, work quickly to turn around assets, and collaborate with producers to ensure content direction. A portfolio is required.

Responsibilities

• Edit video for YouTube and other digital platforms
• Create engaging short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Improve viewer retention through pacing, cuts, captions, sound design, and visual storytelling
• Collaborate with producers and creative teams to align with content direction and tight deadlines
• Handle post-production tasks including audio clean-up, color correction, subtitles, and basic motion graphics when required
• Organize and manage editing assets efficiently
• Stay updated with social media trends and content formats

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, internet culture, and how to create high-performing content for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This is a fast-paced engagement requiring same-day fast-turn editing support, producing a high volume of social assets within tight turnaround timelines

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video for YouTube and other digital platforms
• Create engaging short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of YouTube and short-form content trends
• Excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines independently
• Portfolio or sample works required

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with motion graphics and subtitle styling for social platforms

• Experience working with media agencies
• Knowledge of social-first editing styles and viral content trends
• Comfortable supporting behind-the-scenes content or collaborative production needs when required
