Job summary

PT UNZA VITALIS (A business unit of Wipro Consumer Care) seeks a Fragrance Evaluator to join our personal care and skincare team. You will conduct sensory evaluations of fragrance samples, analyze compositions, and collaborate with product development and fragrance houses to align with brand goals.

The ideal candidate has a science or chemical background, 3–4 years in sensory work, strong olfactory skills, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in science or chemistry.
• 3–4 years in sensory industry, fragrance house, or FMCG with personal care product.
• Strong olfactory skills, analytical abilities, creativity, and communication.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Proficient with common PC applications and quick IT system learning.
• Clear and concise communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with good time management.
• Self-starter with drive to win and achieve results.
• Creative and innovative mindset; able to think out of the box.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sensory evaluations of fragrance samples in various product forms.
• Analyze fragrance compositions to ensure product quality and brand alignment.
• Collaborate with product development and fragrance houses to create or modify fragrances.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to refine fragrance profiles.
• Evaluate stability of fragrance across formulations and conditions.
• Conduct sensory testing and consumer panel evaluations to gather insights.
• Translate consumer insights into actionable recommendations for fragrance development.
• Ensure consistency and quality by comparing test batches with approved samples.
• Perform routine checks to confirm fragrances meet specifications.
• Stay updated on fragrance trends in personal care and consumer preferences.
• Provide insights to guide creative development of new fragrances.
• Maintain accurate records of fragrance evaluations and reports.
• Document testing processes and outcomes for reference.
• Provide sensory training to new team members on evaluation methods.
