Angel Yeast Budi Indonesia is seeking a commercially driven & highly networked Business Development (Food Ingredients) to join our expanding trading team in Indonesia. You will interact with customers to sell products, generate leads, and drive growth across markets with a focus on yeast extract and savory applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales, technical support, or business development in the food ingredients or flavor industry.
• Direct experience with yeast extract, umami enhancers, savory applications, or food additives is a strong plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin is a highly preferred, good in English communication skill.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness.

Responsabilités

• Interact with customers to sell products and provide professional customer service in a timely manner, including after sales services
• Generate leads, credentials pitch, solution pitch, negotiation, close and follow up
• Responsible for the development and achievement of sales targets
• Develop and execute strategies to drive business into new and existing markets
• Develop new business segments and promote innovative ideas for business growth
• Launch new projects to increase market penetration
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules etc
• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all proposals, contracts and correspondence with clients
• Constantly engage current customers by keeping them updated on the company’s new products
• Any additional responsibility as and when required by the company.
