Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim seeks a Head of Technical to lead the fleet's engineering integrity, reliability, and regulatory compliance from shore. This executive role wields authority to withhold service when necessary, balancing engineering judgment with commercial and statutory demands.

You will oversee maintenance, dry-docking, ballast, lifecycle cost, and energy efficiency programs, guiding a team of senior engineers and coordinating with Operations, Commercial and Finance to optimize asset

Qualifications

• Substantial maritime career with shore-based technical management of a commercial fleet.
• Knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC and ISM Code and related class rules.
• Hands-on dry-docking and retrofit project management with on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Experience engaging classification societies, flag authorities, OEMs and shipyards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical function and set engineering standards the Company operates to.
• Own the technical budget and the multi-year docking and capital plan, baselined with Finance.
• Sponsor docking, retrofit and compliance projects from specification through close-out.
• Present fleet condition, technical risk and capital requirements to the President Director and the Board.
• Build and develop the shore technical team and define the competence framework for technical roles.
