Job summary

Bumi Laut Group is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the truck maintenance function and ensure the fleet remains reliable and compliant. You will supervise technicians, coordinate servicing, monitor fleet performance, and liaise with suppliers to secure parts and services.

The role requires a technical degree, 3-5 years in a similar setting, and strong problem-solving, communication, and health-and-safety mindset. Based in Jakarta, the position supports regional logistics operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Strong technical knowledge in truck maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose maintenance issues.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the team and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools and a strong health and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair of the truck fleet, ensuring they are well-maintained and in optimal condition.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize servicing and repairs.
• Monitor performance and utilization of trucks, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance regulations.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to truck maintenance activities.
• Check the engine and oversee diagnostic tests.
• Troubleshoot reported truck issues and resolve them promptly.

As a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in the truck maintenance department at Bumi Laut Group, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise maintenance technicians, and ensure all vehicles meet stringent quality and safety requirements. This position is integral to logistics operations, directly supporting transport and distribution capabilities across the region.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the truck fleet, ensuring they are well-maintained and in optimal working condition

Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize servicing and repairs

About you
