Job summary

PT Contemporary Amperex Technology Indonesia Battery (CATL Indonesia) is seeking a Fire Safety Officer to maintain 24/7 emergency readiness and respond to incidents in Java Barat. You will inspect firefighting equipment, conduct drills, and support evacuation procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of fire protection systems, strong teamwork, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of basic firefighting, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to operate firefighting equipment such as extinguishers, hydrants, hoses, and SCBA.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection systems (alarm, sprinkler, pumps).
• Knowledge of fire watch, emergency evacuation, rescue, and chemical spill response.
• Good physical fitness, teamwork, communication, and composure under pressure.

Job description

Maintain 24/7 emergency readiness and respond to fire, chemical spill, rescue, and other emergency situations.

Inspect and maintain the readiness of firefighting and emergency equipment, including hydrants, extinguishers, SCBA, and fire protection systems.

Conduct safety patrol in night shift

Participate in fire system testing, commissioning, ERT & FRT drills, evacuation drills, and emergency exercises.

Report and follow up fire safety abnormalities, system impairments, and emergency response findings.

Qualifications:

Good knowledge of basic firefighting, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.

Ability to operate firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire hoses, and SCBA.

Basic knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, fire pump, and other fire protection systems.

Knowledge of fire watch, emergency evacuation, basic rescue, and response to chemical spills or other emergencies.

Good physical fitness, teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work effectively under emergency conditions.
