Job summary

The Mesa Bali is seeking a Financial Controller for a full-time, on-site role in Badung. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting, while preparing monthly and annual statements and ensuring policy compliance.

You will supervise finance staff, implement internal controls, and provide analytical insights to support strategic decisions in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Role Description

The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Badung. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. The Financial Controller will prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, monitor accounting records for accuracy, and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with management on financial performance, implementing internal controls, managing audits, and providing analytical insights to support strategic and operational decisions. The role also involves supervising finance and accounting staff, optimizing financial processes, and supporting cost control initiatives across the venue.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with experience managing end-to-end financial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for management and stakeholders.
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to analyze trends, budgets, forecasts, and variances to support decision-making.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with hospitality or nightlife industry systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role, preferably within hospitality, entertainment, or F&B.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to implement and maintain effective internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in a fast-paced environment.
