TELUS Digital invites a Financial Accuracy Specialist to join our global AI community as an independent contractor. You’ll review AI-generated financial statements and tax advice to ensure accuracy and compliance with local laws, acting as the Human Auditor of money rules.

You’ll audit balance sheets and P&L, verify tax logic across countries, and help classify expenses, fraud patterns, and ensure precise financial outcomes while enjoying flexible, remote collaboration with contributors

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory due to country-specific tax laws and accounting terms.
• English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) to follow project instructions.
• Precision mindset: you enjoy balancing a spreadsheet to the penny.

Responsibilities

• Statement Auditing: review AI-generated balance sheets and P&L statements for exact math balance.
• Tax Logic Verification: ensure correct tax rates/rules for your country (VAT, Zakat, etc.).
• Expense Categorization: train AI to correctly tag expenses (e.g., Travel vs Capital Asset).
• Fraud Detection Training: help AI recognize patterns indicating double-billing or suspicious activity.

About the Role: At TELUS Digital, we are training AI to handle the world's most sensitive data: finances. As a Financial Accuracy Specialist, your job is to make sure AI models understand the \"rules of money.\" You will review AI-generated financial statements, tax advice, and expense reports to ensure they are mathematically perfect and follow local accounting laws. You are the \"Human Auditor\" who makes sure the AI doesn't make costly financial mistakes.

What You’ll Do :

• Statement Auditing: Review AI-generated balance sheets and P&L statements to ensure the math balances perfectly.
• Tax Logic Verification: Check if the AI is applying the correct tax rates and rules for your specific country (e.g., VAT in Europe or Zakat in the Middle East).
• Expense Categorization: Train the AI to correctly \"tag\" expenses (e.g., distinguishing between a \"Travel Expense\" and a \"Capital Asset\").
• Fraud Detection Training: Help the AI recognize \"weird\" patterns that might look like double-billing or suspicious financial activity.

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language. This is mandatory because tax laws and accounting terms change completely from one country to another.
• English Proficiency: B1 (Intermediate) English to follow the project instructions.
• Precision Mindset: You are someone who finds joy in a spreadsheet that balances to the penny.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $20 - $50 USD per hour
