TELUS Digital is building a global AI community for identity verification and fraud detection. Join a freelance pool to train AI models on KYC processes, document authenticity, and biometric verification.

Work remotely on international projects, earning $20–$50 USD per hour. You will participate in exams and ID verification as part of the onboarding process, contributing to secure digital access worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Information Security.
• Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory.
• English proficiency minimum B1 (Intermediate).
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially pixel-level anomalies in digital images.

Responsabilités

• Document Authenticity Auditing: review and annotate high-resolution scans to identify forgery markers.
• Liveness & Biometric Verification: evaluate liveness data to help detect deepfakes and 3D masks.
• OCR & PII Data Validation: audit AI-extracted data for names, DOB, expiry across scripts.
• Adversarial Fraud Testing: simulate edge-case documents and synthetic identities to find vulnerabilities.

At TELUS Digital, we are building the Shield of Trust for global digital identity. You will join an elite freelance pool focused on training AI to detect fraud, verify identity documents, and maintain the highest standards of KYC (Know Your Customer). Your role is to teach AI models how to distinguish between a real human and a high-fidelity synthetic mask, and between a genuine passport and a masterfully forged document. At TELUS, you ensure that digital access remains secure for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document Authenticity Auditing: Review and annotate high-resolution scans of international IDs (Passports, Visas, Licenses) to identify microscopic markers of forgery or tampering.
• Liveness & Biometric Verification: Evaluate Liveness test data to help AI detect deepfakes, playback attacks, or 3D masks during the face-matching process.
• OCR & PII Data Validation: Audit the accuracy of AI-extracted data (Name, DOB, Expiry) from documents, ensuring the model handles different scripts and localized document formats.
• Adversarial Fraud Testing: Act as a Fraudster by testing the system with edge-case documents and synthetic identities to find vulnerabilities in the KYC model.

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Information Security.
• Native Language:Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory to identify localized document types and regional identity nuances.
• English Proficiency:MinimumB1 (Intermediate) level English.
• Analytical Eye: Exceptional attention to detail, specifically in identifying pixel-level anomalies in digital images.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you'll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $20 - $50 USD per hour
