Job summary

ASTRO, Indonesia's quick commerce leader, is hiring a Finance Excellence Senior Associate to transform Finance operations through process improvements, stronger controls, and leveraging data, automation, and AI.

You will partner with Finance, Product, Data, Commercial and Technology teams to translate business needs into practical solutions, build tools and dashboards, and drive cost‑efficient improvements across Finance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Finance Operations, Strategic Finance, Process Improvement, Reconciliation, or related areas
• Demonstrated exposure and strong understanding of business and finance process improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good Excel skills and comfortable working with data and reports
• Exposure to Data, Technology, BI, or reporting is a plus
• Familiarity with AI / Generative AI is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or dashboarding tools is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, curious, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce / quick-commerce environment.

About this role

As a Finance Excellence Senior Associate, you will help transform how Finance operates at Astro by improving processes, strengthening controls, and leveraging data, technology, automation, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

As an Astronaut, your missions are:

• Identify and solve Finance process issues through automation, data, technology, and improved controls.

Requirements

In order to complete your mission, you need to have:

• Proactive problem solver who is eager to simplify manual processes, identify issues, and come up with practical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Finance Operations, Strategic Finance, Process Improvement, Reconciliation, or related areas.
• Demonstrated exposure and strong understanding of business and finance process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Excel skills and comfortable working with data and reports.
