Job summary

Magnus in Jakarta is seeking a Finance Assistant to manage invoicing, vendor payments, tax compliance, and daily cash activities in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with month-end reporting and maintain orderly financial documentation, while applying Indonesian tax rules and using Excel and accounting software. A degree in accounting/finance and 1–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting; digital agency or media company experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations; Brevet A & B certification is a big plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Xero, Jurnal).
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing & Payments: Create client invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts (AR).
• Vendor Management: Process timely payments to vendors, media platforms, and influencers/KOLs (AP).
• Tax Compliance: Calculate and manage local taxes (PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23) and handle e-Faktur/e-Bupot.
• Cash Management: Reconcile bank statements daily/monthly and manage petty cash.
• Reporting: Assist the Finance Manager with month-end reports and keep all financial documents neatly organized.
