Job summary

Beca seeks a Finance Systems Analyst to support and enhance its finance systems landscape. You will provide operational support, analyze requirements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure platforms.

You will contribute to Finance transformation initiatives while ensuring day-to-day performance of Finance systems, integrations, and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and enhancing Finance, ERP, or enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; translate requirements into system solutions.
• System configuration, integrations, interfaces, and API-based solutions.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Experience with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting, or Financial Reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive with continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Experience with cloud-based Finance apps or integration technologies will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement of Finance systems and processes.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and defect management across Finance systems, integrations, interfaces, and APIs.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend system configurations, enhancements, and solutions aligned with business needs and product strategy.
• Configure, develop, and implement medium to complex system changes, enhancements, and product updates.
• Understanding of Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, or Financial Reporting.
• Review solution designs and configuration changes to ensure alignment with security, architecture, and integration standards.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and outcomes.
• Support deployment and release activities, identifying risks, dependencies, and business impacts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation and operational procedures.
• Work with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, standardization, and system reliability.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and informal mentoring to team members and contribute to capability development within the team.

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing Beca’s finance systems landscape. You will provide operational support, analyze business requirements, deliver system improvements, and work closely with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure our finance platforms remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

You will contribute to strategic Finance transformation initiatives while ensuring the effective day-to-day performance of Finance systems, integrations, and interfaces.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Systems, or a related discipline.


• Experience supporting and enhancing Finance, ERP, or enterprise business systems.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.


• Experience in system configuration, integrations, interfaces, and API-based solutions.


• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, deployment, and release management practices.


• Experience working with vendors, third-party service providers, and cross-functional teams.


• Understanding of Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, or Financial Reporting.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.


• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.


• Experience with cloud-based Finance applications, ERP platforms, or integration technologies will be highly regarded.
