Job summary

Magnus is seeking a finance professional in Jakarta to handle invoicing, payments, vendor management, and tax compliance. The role supports daily cash management and month-end reporting to ensure accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong grasp of Indonesian tax regulations and proficiency in Excel and common accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting, bonus for digital agency/media company experience.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations; Brevet A & B a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Accurate, Xero, Jurnal).

Responsibilities

• Invoicing & payments: create client invoices and track incoming payments.
• Vendor management: process payments to vendors, platforms, and influencers.
• Tax compliance: calculate and manage local taxes and e-Faktur/e-Bupot.
• Cash management: reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
• Reporting: assist Finance Manager with month-end reports and organize documents.

Job description

• Invoicing & Payments: Create client invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts (AR).
• Vendor Management: Process timely payments to vendors, media platforms, and influencers/KOLs (AP).
• Tax Compliance: Calculate and manage local taxes (PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23) and handle e-Faktur/e-Bupot.
• Cash Management: Reconcile bank statements daily/monthly and manage petty cash.
• Reporting: Assist the Finance Manager with month-end reports and keep all financial documents neatly organized.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting. (Bonus points if you have worked in a digital agency or media company!)
• Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations. Brevet A & B certification is a big plus.
• Tech Skills: Great with Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (like Accurate, Xero, or Jurnal).
• Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
