Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Finance Head to oversee the country's day-to-day finance and accounting operations in Jakarta. You will lead a finance team, drive month-end close, financial reporting, and tax compliance while partnering with the CEO and Regional Head.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA.
• 8+ years of experience in Accounts/Finance including full sets of accounts.
• Big Four experience is a big plus.
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting/forecast, tax, and internal controls.
• Experience preparing financial forecasts and consolidated accounts from multiple countries.
• Proactive team player with ability to work under tight schedules and multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or similar cloud accounting software is a plus.

Job description

The Finance Head is responsible for overseeing and actively managing the country’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including month-end closing, financial reporting, tax, cash flow, budgeting, and internal controls. The role will lead and develop the Finance team while working closely with the Regional team and external parties such as auditors and tax advisors.

This is a hands-on role that requires active involvement in financial analysis, process improvements, and supporting business and client discussions when needed. The role reports directly to the CEO and Regional Head.

Duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for country financial reporting which include monthly closing of the books, preparation and on-time submission of required reports.

Ensure compliance of accounting, taxation and risk management procedures with the required standards, including operation of proper internal control systems.

Ensure full compliance with balance sheet reconciliation requirements.

Manage the annual statutory audit and quarterly audit reviews for country, ensuring accuracy and completeness within timetable.

Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.

Be fully involved in the strategic direction for Finance function of the country.

Manage the annual budget preparation in collaboration with planning team, commercial team and operations team.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA

At least 8+ years of experience in Accounts/Finance including full sets of accounts

2-4 years of professional accounting experience in Big Four is a big plus

Comprehensive Knowledge of finance, full sets of accounting, budgeting/forecast, tax matters, and internal control principles

Prior experience in preparing financial forecasts consolidated accounts from multiple countries

A good team player who is proactive, with a Can-do attitude and able to work under tight schedules and multicultural.

Knowledge of NetSuite or similar cloud based accounting software application is a plus, with experience of financial system migration.

Experience of business practice and regulatory/filings in indonesia a strong advantage

Excellent command of English and Bahasa, both written and verbal
