Bayer Indonesia is launching a 1.5-2 year Finance Management Trainee program based at a production facility in Cimanggis, West Java. The program combines hands-on manufacturing finance with 50% rotations across Commercial Finance, Digital Finance and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance Business Partners on site to learn manufacturing finance hands-on.
• Translate production processes into numbers relating to P&L, working capital and performance.
• Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, self-service reporting and AI-enabled insights in day-to-day finance work.
• Work with Bills of Materials to understand product costing and value drivers.
• Collaborate on periodic reporting, planning and forecasting with central teams.
• Present financial results to site and stakeholders and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.

In our 1.5-2 year Finance Management Trainee program, you will be based at one of our production facilities, close to our products and operations. Your home assignment sits in Product Supply Finance, complemented by 50% rotations across Commercial Finance, Digital Finance and key stakeholders. This ensures you gain a true end‑to‑end understanding of how value is created, steered and transformed through data and technology.

This is not a traditional finance traineeship. It is on‑the‑job learning by design: you will apply newly acquired knowledge immediately, work on real business questions, and actively experiment with AI, analytics and emerging technologies in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do (your Playground)

In Product Supply Finance, you will learn how a production facility operates and how shop‑floor reality is translated into financial insights that steer decisions.

• Partner closely with experienced Finance Business Partners on site, learning manufacturing finance hands‑on
• Translate production processes into numbers, connecting operational drivers to P&L, working capital and performance
• Actively identify opportunities for automation, analytics, self‑service reporting and AI‑enabled insights in day‑to‑day finance work
• Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) to understand product costing and value drivers
• Collaborate on periodic reporting, planning and forecasting, together with central reporting and analytics partners
• Present financial results to site and stakeholder management, learning how to tell the story behind the numbers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives where finance, operations and efficiency come together
