Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation is hiring a Finance Controller in Indonesia to support monthly closings, tax compliance, and cost analysis. You will work with the SSC and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective tax governance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, Tax Brevet A & B, and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and English communication. SAP knowledge is a plus and the position is based in Cikarang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Tax Brevet A & B certification is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance/controlling experience.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian taxation (VAT, WHT, CIT).
• SSC experience is preferred.
• Excel proficiency; SAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Controller in monthly financial closing and reporting activities.
• Review P&L, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Assist cost monitoring and cost analysis to improve cost visibility.
• Support Indonesian tax compliance and coordinate tax audits (VAT, WHT, CIT).
• Coordinate with the Shared Service Center on accounting and reporting matters.
• Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities as needed.
• Support internal control processes and follow up on audit findings.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and HR on finance-related tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Controller in monthly financial closing and reporting activities.
• Review P&L, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support cost monitoring and basic cost analysis to assist in controlling operating expenses and improving cost visibility.
• Support Indonesian tax compliance and coordinate tax audits, including VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with the Shared Service Center (SSC) on accounting, reporting, and transactional matters.
• Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities under the guidance of the Finance Controller.
• Support internal control processes and follow up on audit findings, tax findings, and internal review points.
• Work closely with internal plant teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR) to support finance-related activities and discussions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; possession of Tax Brevet A & B is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or controlling roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or tax/accounting firm.
• Good understanding of Indonesian taxation (VAT, WHT, CIT); hands-on experience in supporting or handling Indonesian tax audits is required.
• Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is preferred.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a lean team environment.
• Able to work independently with appropriate guidance and supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
