Job summary

Moladin seeks an execution-driven Finance Director to oversee financial governance, treasury, and capital strategy across its automotive fintech and multi-finance platform. The role demands hands-on leadership, direct involvement in audits, bank negotiations, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia.

You will manage month-end closings, tax planning, and FP&A while guiding Finance and Treasury teams, ensuring strong internal controls and strategic partnerships with lenders and regulators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with proven performance as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance.
• Direct operational experience within Fintech, Multi-Finance, SME/Commercial Banking, or High-Growth Tech in Indonesia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline; Master’s/MBA advantageous.
• Active professional certification strongly preferred (CA, CPA, CFA, or Brevet A/B/C).
• Expertise in PSAK, Indonesian corporate tax law, and OJK regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia for regulatory interface, banking negotiations, and investor management.

Job description

Moladin is seeking an execution-driven Finance Director to oversee total financial governance, regulatory operations, and capital strategy across our automotive fintech and multi-finance platform.

This role requires a hands-on executive leader who combines strategic fiscal management with direct operational involvement in treasury management, external bank financing, regulatory affairs, and audit governance. Moving beyond high-level oversight, the Finance Director will directly manage core financial workflows, secure and manage credit facilities with external financial institutions, maintain tight internal controls, and serve as the primary executive liaison for external auditors, lenders, and banking partners.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Management to establish and support strong strategic relationships with 3rd-party commercial banks, multi-finance partners, and institutional debt lenders in Indonesia.
• Serve as the central executive owner for all statutory, interim, and specialized external audits. Lead direct engagement with Big 4 or major accounting firms, ensuring full audit readiness, timely statement sign-offs, and swift resolution of audit findings.
• Maintain direct oversight of daily accounting operations, general ledger integrity, and end-to-end month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Ensure strict compliance with PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards) and IFRS, taking ultimate accountability for statutory financial statement accuracy.
• Establish, enforce, and audit robust internal financial control frameworks to mitigate operational risk and maintain compliance across all group entities.
• Oversee full compliance with regulatory frameworks, capital adequacy mandates, and reporting requirements established by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and Bank Indonesia.
• Direct corporate tax planning and operational tax compliance (Corporate Income Tax, VAT/PPN, Withholding Taxes) in adherence to Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) regulations.
• Conduct granular financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to evaluate product-level unit economics, net interest margins, and yield optimization across core lending and marketplace verticals.
• Provide direct technical direction, operational coaching, and mentorship to internal Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with proven performance as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance.
• Direct operational experience within Fintech, Multi-Finance (Perusahaan Pembiayaan), SME/Commercial Banking, or High-Growth Tech in Indonesia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline (Master’s/MBA is advantageous).
• Active professional certification is strongly preferred (CA, CPA, CFA, or Brevet A/B/C).
• Expertise in PSAK, Indonesian corporate tax law, and OJK regulatory frameworks.
• Execution-oriented mindset with high bandwidth for both strategic planning and field-level operational details.
• Uncompromising professional integrity and strict commitment to governance standards.
• Professional fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal) required for formal regulatory interface, banking negotiations, and investor management.
