Job summary

Multi Bintang Indonesia is seeking a COGS Controller to join our Finance team in Tangerang. You will ensure accuracy and transparency of all COGS financial activities, partner with Supply Chain and Procurement, and drive cost optimization across the business.

The role covers planning, analysis, reporting, risk control, and SAP product costing, with dashboards in Power BI and Anaplan. You will influence decision making and support performance improvement initiatives across a multinational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting with FP&A, cost accounting and FMCG/manufacturing exposure.
• Experience in multinational companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning: Develop accurate and complete financial plans for variable COGS, AP, ROFO, and SP.
• Financial Analysis: Prepare monthly and annual COGS reports, variance analysis, and governance materials.
• Cost Management: Implement cost control tools and monitor operational metrics impacting COGS.
• Business Cases & Modeling: Conduct financial assessments for investments and projects, supporting fact-based decision-making.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong cross-functional relationships and align on financial matters.
• Operational Support: Facilitate audits, governance processes, and annual SAP product costing.
• Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely reports and dashboards using PBI and Anaplan.
• Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls and mitigate financial risks.

We are looking for a COGS Controller to join our Finance team at Multi Bintang Indonesia, based in Tangerang. This role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and transparency of all financial activities related to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), including planning, analysis, reporting, cost management, risk control, and decision support. You will act as a financial business partner for Supply Chain, Procurement, and other key functions to drive efficiency, optimize costs, and support performance improvement initiatives.

Candidate Criteria

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting with strong exposure to FP&A, cost accounting, and FMCG/manufacturing environments. Experience in multinational companies is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience in COGS/Variable Expenses.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; ERP systems experience (SAP preferred).
