Job summary

Grab is seeking an RTR Associate to join the General Ledger team within the Shared Service Centre. You will handle journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure the integrity of financial records across monthly closings.

Collaborate with country controllers, tax, FP&A and regional teams, while exploring AI tools to streamline accounting workflows in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Big 4 experience is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of BS & PL items, PSAK, and financial processes.
• Proficiency with ERP/EPM systems and advanced Excel.
• English proficiency is required for global collaboration.
• Adaptable and eager to explore AI tools to improve accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing and reporting according to schedule.
• Maintain balance sheet listings, perform reconciliations, and analyses.
• Prepare journal entries ensuring accurate and compliant records.
• Collaborate with Country Controllers, Tax, FP&A, and regional teams.

Get to Know the Team

You will be a key member of the Record-to-Report (RTR) function, specifically within the General Ledger (GL) team. The RTR team is part of the Shared Service Centre and report to Regional.

Get to Know the Role

As an RTR Associate, you are more than just working with numbers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include journal entry postings, account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will perform the monthly financial closing and reporting process, ensuring accurate financial data is ready for review in strict adherence to close schedules and reporting deadlines.


• Maintain, reconcile, and analyse Balance Sheet Listing.


• You will prepare journal entries to keep the company's financial records safe and compliant.


• You will partner with Country Controllers, Tax, FP&A, and regional controllers to make sure everyone is working with the same consistent data.


• You will organize documentation and perform financial analysis to make internal and external audits smooth and complied with company & SOX standards.


• You will be expected to be very adaptable and eager to explore AI tools to help enhance and streamline our accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• Professional Experience : 2+ years of experience in Accounting Field. Previous experience in Big 4 is a strong plus.


• Technical Skill : Strong understanding and analysis for BS & PL item, PSAK, and financial processes.


• Systems & Tools: Proficient in ERP/EPM systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.


• Soft Skills : Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.


• Language : English proficiency is required.
