Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance.
• Proficient with accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Job description

Finance Accounting & Tax Manager responsible for financial management, reporting, and tax compliance. The role involves preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reports, analysing business performance, leading commercial finance activities, and overseeing Indonesian tax compliance including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings. You will manage external and internal audits, drive cost optimisation initiatives, and partner across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain to improve business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and management reporting
• Analyse sales, profitability, gross margin, and business performance
• Lead commercial finance and business partnering activities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor standard costing, inventory, and manufacturing cost variances
• Drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and corporate governance
• Oversee Indonesian tax compliance, including timely review and submission of monthly and annual tax filings
• Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and the Indonesian Tax Office on tax compliance and regulatory matters
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving process improvements and automation

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance/accounting
• At least 5 years in a managerial role in the manufacturing, FMCG, or food & beverage industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, budgeting, cash flow, and regulatory compliance
• Brevet A & B Tax Certification is required
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• High integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Willing to work from office in Tangerang, Banten
