Job summary

Company Confidential is seeking a Finance & Accounting leader in Jakarta to supervise daily operations including AP/AR, GL, and cash management. You will lead monthly closings, prepare reports for management, and ensure accurate financial records in line with Indonesian regulations.

The role requires 3–5 years in Finance & Accounting with 1–2 years in a supervisory position, strong Excel/ERP skills, and excellent stakeholder management in a tech-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and Indonesian regulations.
• Experience in monthly closing, financial reconciliation, AP/AR, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

1. Supervise daily Finance & Accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and cash management.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
3. Lead the monthly and annual closing process and prepare financial reports for management.
4. Monitor cash flow, payment schedules, receivables, and company financial positions.
5. Review and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, AP/AR, and other financial records.
6. Ensure proper documentation and internal controls across finance and accounting processes.
7. Coordinate tax compliance and ensure timely preparation and submission of tax-related obligations.
8. Support budgeting, financial planning, and analysis to provide insights for business decision-making.
9. Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, tax consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders on finance-related matters.
10. Identify financial discrepancies and process improvements, and provide recommendations to management.
11. Supervise, guide, and evaluate the Finance & Accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and Indonesian regulations.
4. Experienced in monthly closing, financial reconciliation, AP/AR, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and accounting/ERP systems.
6. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
8. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.
10. Experience working in a technology, SaaS, fintech, or start-up company is highly preferred.
11. Brevet A/B or relevant accounting certification is a plus.
