Job summary

PT Metalart Astra Indonesia, a joint venture between Metal Art Corp. Japan and PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk, located in Karawang, West Java, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to process invoices, post journal entries, and support month-end closing.

You will coordinate with related departments, maintain accurate records, and help with financial reporting. Diploma in Accounting/Finance with 1–2 years of experience and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Accounting/Finance is preferred.
• Familiar with invoice processing and journal entries.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries into the accounting system.
• Perform account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Support daily accounting operations and document management.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
