Job summary

PT KeenConnect Konsultama Indonesia, a multinational palm oil manufacturing company in Kalimantan, seeks an experienced Finance & Accounting Section Head to lead the finance and accounting teams. You will oversee closing, reporting, cost control, and compliance while coordinating with tax and audit functions.

The role requires 5–8 years in accounting/finance with 2–3 years in leadership, strong English, and CMA/CA/ACCA or equivalent advantages; SAP (FICO) and Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficient in English is a MUST reporting to expatriate.
• Certified Brevet A & B, CMA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional certification will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, financial reporting, GL, AP, AR, assets, inventory, accruals and prepaid expenses.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the Accounting team to ensure effective performance.
• Review monthly closing activities and ensure all issues are resolved before reporting.
• Review journal entries and accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Review AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Accruals, and Prepaid accounts.
• Coordinate with Tax Officer for tax reconciliation and compliance matters.
• Prepare costing reports and analyze production costs and variances.
• Support internal and external audit activities and strengthen internal controls.
• Provide financial data support to other departments as required.
