Job summary

SCG in Jakarta is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the accounting department, ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, and coordinate audits with external auditors. The role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong management skills, and experience in a manufacturing setting.

You will guide multiple departments on policy interpretation, maintain internal controls, and work closely with HQ on financial issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of work experience in finance and accounting within manufacturing.
• 2+ years of management experience in roles such as assistant finance and accounting manager or higher in manufacturing.
• Able to perform month-end and year-end closings independently.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, finance, and management.
• Experience in financial auditing and coordinating audits.
• Capable of overseeing financial statements, including budget reporting.
• Be able to work in Indonesia (allowance provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing procedures and year-end closing procedures, and support budgeting.
• Oversee daily accounting department activities to ensure reports are accurate and timely.
• Prepare for financial audits and coordinate the audit process.
• Maintain accounting controls by defining policies, chart of accounts, and procedures.
• Guide other departments on accounting policies and operational issues.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard financial security.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation and procedures.
• Manage and supervise accounting staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end closing and reporting.
• Collaborate with HQ and group company on financial and accounting matters.
